We are thrilled to announce that we are now a merchant in the redditgifts marketplace, so swing on by and see what we’re up to over there! We’ll constantly be changing the available products as we come across new artists and ideas, so be sure to visit often!
Not sure about you, but we had an absolute blast at Comic Con. We loved meeting all of you and, as you can see from the photos, we made a lot of wicked cool friends. We’re thrilled you are just as stoked about what we’re doing as we are (because it’s no fun if we don’t have anyone to share it with). Thanks for stopping by to say Hi! and we hope to see you next year!
Making Friends at Comic Con 2013
At Art of Innovation, we are all about giving back–which includes to you, too!* We are giving away FOUR prizes that feature our innovative, printing smarts (like Z-D Acrylic!) and imagery from The Crow. We’ll sweeten it even more by convincing Tom Zotos to sign each of them, all still free for you.
|1st: Signed Crow Acrylic||2nd: Signed Canvas Collectible|
|3rd: Signed Poster Print||4th: Bound Movie Portfolio|
If you are one of the cool kids who visited our booth at Comic Con and want to enter to win one of these sweet prizes, just fill out this brief form! We’ll randomly choose four names and contact those winners shortly.
*Bet you thought we were only talking about non-profits and charities.
From time to time, we’ll give you a sneak peak into what we’re up to and post photos we’ve (giddily) captured from the shop of what’s coming hot off the presses–literally.
We love Z-D Acrylic–and bet you will too (once you watch this video to figure out what the heck it is)!
From time to time, we’ll post photo galleries of our latest and greatest happenings. Creating collectibles with Tom Zotos for Crayola and Crayola Experience (one of Pennsylvania’s biggest tourist destinations) has certainly been a colorful experience! Definitely head on over and check them out!

“IT CAN’T RAIN ALL THE TIME”- COLLABORATION BRINGS NEW MERCHANDISE FEATURING THE CROW TO BOSTON COMIC CON
BOSTON, MA. Jul. 12, 2013- BrownTrout Publishers and Art of Innovation have partnered with pop artist/publisher Tom Zotos, who pioneered movie collectibles for Star Wars, Batman, and Superman, on limited edition commemorative artwork celebrating the 1994 cult-classic The Crow starring Brandon Lee. Directed by Alex Proyas, The Crow was based on the acclaimed graphic novel by James O’Barr and produced by Edward R. Pressman (Wall Street, American Psycho, Conan the Barbarian, Judge Dredd, Mutant Chronicles, Sisters and Phantom of the Paradise). Pressman is currently developing a reinvention of the original film to be directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before the Fall) with Relativity. O’Barr is a consultant on the latest adaptation which will star Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6) as ‘Eric Draven’ and will begin shooting in early 2014.
Zotos will be signing his artwork at the Art of Innovation Booth at the Boston Comic Con at the Seaport World Trade Center on August 3rd and 4th. Zotos has published the works of Bob Kane, Neil Adams, Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Tim Burton, Bruce Tim and Carmine Infantino.
The deal with BrownTrout Publishers was negotiated on behalf of Edward R. Pressman Film Corporation by Dan Kletzky, president of Entertainment Licensing Associates (ELA), the licensing agency for The Crow. Los Angeles based ELA is a full service branding and licensing agency.
In 2015, The Crow Wall Calendar will be newest addition to BrownTrout’s line of products based on the classic action fantasy movie. The 12″ x 12″ 16-month calendar will feature 12 memorable images—one for each month of the year—and 4 bonus 2014 months to make the transition into the new year a smooth one.
